Incredible, price-effective solution
If you've been having bluetooth connectivity issues and have tried everything else (or want to spare yourself the stress), get this. It works, and it works well. Excellent investment. No more choppy headset and much greater range.

Nice Bluetooth Add-on for PC
If your motherboard is older and did not come with Bluetooth, this is a good adapter. Great for headphones and game controllers.

Works great for me
I added this product to my HP DeskTop Windows 11 computer. My HP computer has Bluetooth - BUT - Headphones that I purchased would not connect. This product solved my problem.

Great little product

Convenient solution to a problem.

Great Product
This USB device for BlueTooth connection is outstanding. It was easy to install & I haven't had any issues. Connecting to it is smooth & there hasn't been any disconnection issues.

Works Great!
Bought it to pair my BT headphones with desktop computer. Works great! Just make sure to disable any onboard bluetooth first.
Am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.

Excellent Range and Reliability
I purchased this to replace a similar Bluetooth 4.0 device of another brand in order to improve range. It works very well on Windows 10 with my Bose QC 35 headphones. My range with these headphones has greatly improved. I'm now even able to walk upstairs without losing connection or experiencing audio artifacts.
With the latest build of Windows 10 Pro (20H2), it works pretty consistently to stream full quality stereo audio, then transition to allow the headphones to be used as a headset for a VOIP call (lower bitrate, but also with mic output), then transition back automatically after the call.
Also works to stream my Samsung Galaxy S10e audio output to my PC sound system (after installing Bluetooth Audio Receiver from the Windows store for free). Occasionally this won't initiate and I have to restart my PC if I want that function to work. That's probably more to do with Windows than this device however.

ASUS BT-500 Bluetooth adapter
I tried to get the device to work in my desktop computer (did not have Bluetooth). I could not get it to work even with ASUS tech support. Tried the device in my old HP laptop (did not have Bluetooth) and it worked great. Automatically installed the windows drivers and connected to a Bluetooth speaker just fine.

One of a few adapters available using the recent USB 5.0 standard. Appears to send a stronger signal -- at least it provided better service than the USB 4.0 adapter it replaced. This item is in short supply. I checked many other sources; all were either out of stock or had a much higher price.

I have had this product for almost 2 months now and have used it a lot. I have an older i5 Toshiba Satellite laptop and the ASUS-USB-BT500 has worked well on this device. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Excellent Bluetooth Transceiver!
ASUS makes the best computer parts and peripherals. This BT5 transceiver is exactly as pictured and works perfectly. The driver software went on effortlessly, my accessories connected immediately and worked as expected.
This product was out of stock and back ordered when I purchased it, but Adorama kept the order live until they received the product for shipping.
You can't beat Adorama for quality products and excellent customer service!

Asus is one of the most wanted BT wanted, they are always in backorder for that reason ,they fly of the shelf ,the best People i wont even mind posting a pic of this device ,because it is exactly as pictured ,when sold ,what you see is what you get , no tricks. Asus will grow stronger in there products and drivers.
Hardware you can depend on. All my motherboard since i was a young boy are Asus and will be ,we want to see more . Me? 3pcie slots with metal and the latest gadgets on your boards ,best drivers , i will wait ,go pie4 ,dont hold back.
