Imani K : How compatible is this chromebook with windows office applications?Carolyn N M : Chromebook has both extensions the creating a account on Chrome browser and also Apps from Google Play Store that function on unit. There is either the king sauce sweet or free Microsoft versions that will interface with Word Excel PowerPoint EtcSID W : I found the Chromebook too limited in its capabilities. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Purchased a Samsun Galaxy Book and other than a a flimsy keyboard it’s a workhorse and more capable and faster than my current desktop.

No HDMI port and Spacebar is a nightmare

My bad in not checking to see if it had an HDMI port. I was so focused on a Chromebook with a backlit keyboard, I spaced on the HDMI but there is no excuse for a spacebar that must be pressed dead center to have it work. So FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Pricier for a Chromebook, but you get what you pay for

I've recently tried two Chromebooks and a Windows 10 laptop. Value per dollar, I would recommend this ASUS. Be conscious of what others say also about screen size; although this screen is "larger" than other 11" screens, the laptop is probably not as this screen uses most of the flip top, and the laptop is very light and portable. Battery life is great as advertised. I also haven't noticed any lag or slow feature which is a product of a core M3 processor in a simple Chromebook environment. I use it for personal accounting, basic spreadsheets, documents, web browsing, and traveling (maps, etc.) It's great for me.

Too Limited for Even Casual Business Use

For my use I do not recommend. For others this may be just the ticket. Consider your use but for a Chromebook this Asus is the best. The Asus hardware is top drawer. Solid, bright, fast, convenient, great keyboard and more. My problem is with Chromebook. It's approach is too limited for what I need to do. Online apps just do not carry as much clout as installed programs which this device will not handle. Chromebook doesn't hold a candle to my iPad or Windows devices. I'm parking this puppy for a Samsung Galaxy Book 12 and returning to Windows. Adorama was terrific. Fast shipping, easy buy on their website. I'm returning to Adorama to purchase the Samsung and will return to them for future computer, camera and electronic needs.

Excellent chromebook - definitely worth the price!

This chromebook has an outstanding display! Has been great so far, being used for light word processing, creating presentations, and some online gaming. Seems to be very sturdy with strong hinges and an attractive silver body.

Top Chromebook

I'm a chromebook user both personal and business. This Asus m3 convertible is simply the best chromebook on the market. The problem I've had with previous chromebooks is underpowered processors. No more!! This processor is powerful and all functions of this chromebook are screaming fast and efficient. Android apps work flawlessly. Chrome apps also. The touchscreen and HD resolution are perfect. Brightness is outstanding. Given the great processor, touchscreen, and convertible factor, the last single most important feature I needed was a backlit keyboard. Boom!! This backlit keyboard is absolutely the best. I compute a lot late nights from my recliner and this chromebook is fantastic. Personal use also involves movies and casting to my 60 inch UHD TV. Works superbly. Love the new USB C ports. Bought USB C hub with hdtv and usb ports and it works flawlessly. USB C charging is fast and power adapter is small as a phone charger, FINALLY! Fits in my shoulder bag with no fuss. Can't imagine a better chromebook, or really a better laptop of any kind, windows or mac. I am a huge google platform user and the hardware, chrome OS, and now Playstore capability with android apps, make this laptop the absolute dream machine for android and chrome OS enthusiasts. I am now one of those for sure. Highly recommend this version or the coming m8 / 128gb version, which should be silly fast!!
