Just Perfect

Truly AMAZING and worth every penny. The 3080 runs any game, even MSFS seamless. High FPS and a life like experience. Price is a steal for this GPU and laptop! This is the PERFECT combo of specs!! The keypad took some getting used to (position different from my last laptop) but I have no other complaints. There was some screen bleeding on my unit, maybe pay for the best panel option if you think it will bother you, I only notice on my black desktop. Performs so well everyone I show wants one. The RAM and GPU combo is perfect and the 1TB is nice. I added a second 2TB inside without any trouble. The lighting is so nice and even can make it all sync with my Hue lights in my home. If you are not sure, BUY IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Asus' decision to use the AMD processor with graphics diminished the quality that this laptop could have. Since Asus offers the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, which is far superior to AMD's graphics processor, as an upgrade for this computer, they should have opted to use it and not the AMD processor for this unit.

Best Laptop I've ever owned

I bought this laptop to game on as well as do schoolwork and whatever else I needed on a day to day Windows machine workhorse, and I have to say it has delivered on all of its promises as well as blown away my expectations. Beautiful to look at and performs like a dream, have had it for about a month now and have zero regrets.

Fast, light, and awesome 2K screen

I bought this laptop a couple weeks ago and am very happy with it. Doesn't get very warm like some gaming laptops and fan noise is surprisingly quiet for having Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card. I can play any game on it on ultra setting no problem. RGB lighting is cool too. Loving it!

Amazing Laptop!

I bought this a few days ago and am absolutely blown away. The build quality is great. The rgb lighting - a first for me - is just awesome. I am getting a 90-day warranty extension by doing a review. However, that doesn?t take anything away from this laptop. It is amazing so far. I have run Microsoft flight simulator on full ultra and it runs smooth like butter. I have the QHD and 5900hx with an rtx 3080. I had never owned an Asus laptop, but am really in awe of it. I have already recommended one to my brother who is looking for a laptop.

Great laptop, gorgeous display and very nice feeling keyboard

The laptop is great so far, only thing I did was to add another 1TB NVMe drive as I like to keep the games installed instead of downloading them when I play them. The keyboard is really nice, I'm really enjoying it and the display is simply gorgeous. I didn't notice any major backlight bleeding and the colors and clarity is great. Performance wise I didn't do any benchmarks, but both for day to day usage and gaming is performing the way I expected, everything at Max and QHD resolution running smoothly so far. The transparent plastic on the right side give it a charm where you can see the internals, but for some that is a downside as it is mostly plastic. For my usage I don't care about the WebCam and I plan to use a monitor later on which will counter the lack of MUX switch. The only thing I would like for it to have is for the display to lean 180 degrees as that would make it easier to integrate in my desktop. It's angle is limited to something like 120 degrees Thermals are ok as well
