This was a gift and I know nor understand any of it. I can tell you the power button works! The screen has pretty colors and letters. If you need a working power button and pretty colors and letters, this one is for you!

Bought this on Amazon and was impressed with Customer Service response re updating warranty. Great purchase. Keyboard takes a little getting used to, i.e., no delete button, figuring out cut and paste etc. Definitely will take a learning curve, but I think I will be quite satisfied.

I bought this almost two months ago on Amazon from a third party seller. Although the seller was awful, the product is absolutely great for the price. It has great features, the screen resolution is quite good and it is quick as I expect for a Chromebook. If you need a day to day workhorse, this is an excellent choice.

It's been a great experience from the ordering to shipping to the unboxing. Asus has their act together when it comes to packaging and the product seems to be rocksolid. I've owned other Asus products over the years and they've done nothing but get better over time.

Bought CX5 Flip (CX5400) from Amazon and it has been my go to laptop since. Well furnished, responsive and fanless without heat. Using this on your lap is now a joy without the heat!

Purchased this chromebook a week ago for school and tablet use. Extremely versatile chromebook with great features. The back-lit keyboard, flip screen feature to use as a tablet and the device being light are some of the great features. Thank goodness I was able to find this for my child who is now attending school virtually. No one had Chromebooks available. Luckily I found by searching online and jumped at the chance to buy it. This chromebook is light and fast. It works great and I do recommend it. Flipping it into tablet mode is a plus too.

useful functionality and powerful performance wrapped in a pretty shell. As used, as a web browser / video screen / email client, this computer has not ever reached its true capabilities. It is more machine than many will need. and the flipperdo table tent makes this star shine even brighter. no, you will not get 60 fps in any game, nor will you be able host a blue chip website... but you're not shopping for that tech in a Chromebook, are you? As an aside, Google's implementation of Linux on the Chromebook is a full featured addition which vastly improves the functionality of their OS, features Debian apt package management with full repositories, and fully justifies these more powerful models becoming popular.

Admittedly after limited use (a couple of hours), I find myself strongly recommending this product. It has a very premium feel and the performance is snappy enough for my use case (3-4 tabs max). The screen is quite nice and bright. Only complaints are the backlit keys, which are a bit uneven in the lighting. Haven't had a chance to test out Linux, but the ChromeOS software is as stable and capable as I've used on other chromebooks.
