I'm a business owner and use the Asus for web development, design in Photoshop, and loads of multi-tasking. The i7 always keeps up, the Nvidia graphics are stellar, and the keyboard is just right (layout, key responsiveness, etc. I have same accuracy as on a desktop). The 17" screen gives me the ability to work while mobile just like I do when I'm in the office w/o sacrificing my neck or eyes trying to read the screen and move things around. I did a lot of research before I went with this laptop and I'm so glad I selected this one. Also, the anti-glare screen makes this the PERFECT laptop for those of us who travel a lot and have to deal with less than ideal lighting.

This seemed to be the logical choice for a machine that was to be my new "primary" computer. I have abandoned my desktop seat for a couch position as my regular spot to do work, surf, and interact. Thus, my main computer needed to be a laptop. I just needed something that would also handle my Photoshop work and other graphics requirements. I like to play games, but that was not the determining factor. Getting a high-performance rig that checked all the boxes...Win10, high memory, etc...this one did it. A friend pointed me to Adorama for the best price, and that sold it & made me pull the trigger. I am new to Windows 10, but aside from a start menu I have yet to personalize, I have no issues. The machine has worked flawlessly so far, so I have only good things to say.

Great computer. I'm very pleased with it. Very fast and I love the keyboard. Just the right touch for me. I bought it to work on raw pictures using Lightroom and the computer is fast and the screen is sharp and large with accurate colors. I'd definitely buy this computer again or recommend it to others. Purchasing through Adorama was quick and easy, and they had the best price. I received this computer in three days of placing my order. Couldn't be happier with Adorama and the computer.

I am not a gamer but wanted a 17” screen laptop with power; hard to find not set up for gaming. My old laptop is a Dell Inspiron 7000 with a 17” screen that is about 5 years old. It works find just has trouble keeping up with Windows 10. I’m not a fan of the red keys used on this Asus as I find them hard to see even with the back lit function turned up in some lighting situations plus the number keys on the side pad are more narrow than my old Dell, about as narrow as they are on a Dell 15” screen unit. I use the number pad a lot but suppose the keyboard works as set up for the gamers. Not the end of the world but there is a learning curve when coming from a wider number pad and white lettering. I did have trouble with the video card driver stopping to work while on Craig’s List at first. It would recover but still concerning although it seems to have stopped doing that and has been working fine for the last 2 weeks. Maybe there was an automatic update that took care of it, not tech savvy enough to know for sure but as long as it works now I’m OK. The only other issue with the unit is the case along the front edge of the keypad surface where your wrists lay while typing. It has a somewhat sharp edge that will irritate my wrist a little by the end of the day. Tape along the edge took care of it but perhaps with time the edge would wear down or perhaps a little ultra-fine sandpaper run across the edge a few times would take care of it too. Having said all that it was a lot of computer for the price so I can live with the little things.

It's a great Laptop for sure, for the price fantastic. Super response speed, killer graphics and user friendly. I not only would recommend Adorama and this laptop to a friend, I already have and they love it too.
