If you're looking for a streamlined solution to connect and control an audio processor for networked systems, the ne4400 Network Enabled Protea DSP Audio System Processor with 4-Ch AES3 Outputs and CNM-2 CobraNet Option Card is your ideal choice. This advanced audio system processor is designed to work seamlessly with our amplifiers, offering effortless setup and control through the standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and the Protea ne Software. There's no need for any special outboard control units.The ne4400 is a part of our lineup of standard units, which includes the ne4800 and ne8800, all featuring an analog line input/output format. This model comes with four option bays that support network audio, AES3, and mic input options. At the heart of this processor is an extensive DSP signal processing library powered by multiple SHARC 32-Bit processors. These processors can handle sample rates of either 48kHz or 96kHz. The processing blocks include a 4x4 matrix mixer, a comprehensive range of graphic, parametric, and all pass equalization, and crossover filters. These filters include 8th-order Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and notched Linkwitz-Riley.The Protea Software Suite that accompanies this processor is packed with advanced features. These include an automatic feedback suppressor, FIR filter capability, gain sharing automatic microphone mixing, ambient noise sensing and level adjustment, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, frequency-keyed noise gates, and signal delay up to 1,365ms on every channel. You also get your choice of sinewave, pink, or white noise generators.Programming is a breeze with the standard 10/100 Ethernet or RS-232 protocol and Protea ne Software on a PC platform. The hot-plug software control allows you to plug any function into any channel block even when running live audio, with no recompiling necessary. The automatic DHCP network IP configuration further reduces network setup time.The ne4400 also offers multi-level software security with password access, ensuring a tamper-proof audio system. The rear panel features Euroblock connectors, including eight logic input or output connections, plus eight remote potentiometer level controls. BNC connections for word clock input and output are provided for digital audio frame locking to a house sync. This DSP processor fits perfectly in a standard 19" rack, using only 2 spaces.The Protea Digital Signal Processing for NE Processors is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8, 7 (Vista/XP) 32 & 64 bit systems, making it a user-friendly choice for audio professionals.
