With four channels of AES3 outputs, the ne4400 offers unparalleled flexibility in routing audio signals, making it an ideal choice for audio professionals in live sound, installed sound systems, and recording studios.The ne4400 boasts an extensive DSP signal processing library powered by multiple SHARC 32-Bit processors, ensuring high-fidelity audio with sample rates of 48kHz or 96kHz. Users can take advantage of a versatile matrix mixer, which can be configured as 4x4, 4x8, or 8x8, and a comprehensive suite of processing blocks. These include variable-Q graphic and parametric equalization, crossover filters with 8th-order Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and notched Linkwitz-Riley options, and an advanced automatic feedback suppressor.Innovative features such as FIR filter capability, gain sharing automatic microphone mixing, ambient noise sensing and level adjustment, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, and frequency-keyed noise gates enhance the audio experience. Additionally, the processor offers signal delay up to 1,365ms on every channel and a choice of sinewave, pink, or white noise generators.Programming and control are streamlined through the use of standard 10/100 Ethernet or RS-232 protocol and the intuitive Protea ne Software on a PC platform.
