An advanced solution for networked audio systems, the ne4800 Network Enabled Protea DSP Audio System Processor simplifies the process of connecting and controlling an audio processor. This sophisticated device is designed to work seamlessly with our amplifiers, offering effortless setup and control through standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and Protea ne Software. The ne4800 stands out with its analog line input/output format, featuring 4 channels of AES3 input and 8 channels of AES3 output. It also comes equipped with a CNM-2 CobraNet Option Card, providing network audio, AES3, and mic input options. This high-quality audio system processor boasts an extensive DSP signal processing library, powered by multiple SHARC 32-Bit processors with sample rates of either 48kHz or 96kHz. It includes a matrix mixer, available in 4x4, 4x8 or 8x8 configurations, and a comprehensive range of graphic, parametric, and all pass equalization. The ne4800 also features advanced audio processing capabilities such as an automatic feedback suppressor, FIR filter capability, gain sharing automatic microphone mixing, ambient noise sensing and level adjustment, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, and frequency-keyed noise gates. Signal delay up to 1,365ms on every channel is possible, and you can choose from sinewave, pink or white noise generators. All programming is accomplished using standard 10/100 Ethernet or RS-232 protocol and Protea ne Software on a PC platform. The ne4800's hot-plug software control allows you to plug any function into any channel block even when running live audio with no recompiling necessary. Its automatic DHCP network IP configuration reduces network setup time, and multi-level software security with password access assures you a tamper-proof audio system. The ne4800 is designed for professional use in live sound reinforcement, recording studios, and post-production facilities. Its innovative design and advanced features make it a reliable choice for audio professionals seeking a high-quality, network-enabled DSP audio system processor.
