With the ne8250 8-Channel Network-Enabled Power Amplifier, experience the seamless integration of high-quality audio and advanced networking capabilities. This state-of-the-art amplifier is built around an energy-efficient Class-D platform and a switching power supply, offering a unique blend of power and efficiency.
The ne8250 amplifier simplifies the process of connecting and controlling an amplifier for networked systems. It offers user-friendly setup and control through standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and Protea ne Software, eliminating the need for special outboard control units.
This versatile amplifier comes in two distinct platforms - the standard network amplifier and a network amplifier equipped with an on-board Protea DSP Processor. Each platform can be customized to suit any installation, with options to add AES3 inputs, mic pre inputs, CobraNet, or Dante modules.
The ne8250 8-Channel Power Amplifier is designed to deliver a minimum power of 150 Watts RMS per channel into 8 Ohm loads and 250 Watts RMS per channel into 4 Ohm loads with all channels operating. When switched into bridged-mono mode, it can deliver at least 500 Watts RMS into an 8 Ohm load.
The amplifier features Euroblock input and output connectors and balanced analog inputs. It also offers remote standby for power up, DC remote level control, and contact closure preset recall.
With Ethernet control, you can monitor power functions, level, mute, polarity, temperature, current, and amplifier fault conditions. The amplifier boasts a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz +/-1.0dB and a Signal-to-Noise ratio greater than 105dB unweighted.
The front panel provides status updates on power, standby, protect, power switch disable, signal level, bridge, over-temperature, over-current, and Ethernet communication. The amplifier can be upgraded with factory-installed AES3, CobraNet, or Dante interface options with the addition of two 4-Channel DAC cards.
Designed to fit in a standard 19-inch rack using two spaces, the ne8250 8-Channel Network-Enabled Power Amplifier is a compact and lightweight solution, weighing just 24.7 pounds (11.2kg).
