The Network-Enabled Digital Signal Processor with 8-Channel Mic Inputs & Protea Software Suite is a sophisticated and powerful tool designed for professional audio and video applications. This advanced device offers seamless setup and control using the standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and the Protea ne Software, eliminating the need for special outboard control units.
This innovative processor simplifies the connection and control of an audio processor for networked systems. It comes in standard analog line input/output formats of ne4400 (4x4), ne4800 (4x8), and ne8800 (8x8), with four option bays supporting network audio, AES3, and mic input options.
The high-quality DSP signal processing library is extensive, utilizing multiple SHARC 32-bit processors with sample rates of either 48KHz or 96KHz. Processing blocks include a matrix mixer (either 4x4, 4x8 or 8x8), a comprehensive array of graphic, parametric and all pass equalization, and crossover filters including 8th-order Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley and notched Linkwitz-Riley.
The Protea Software Suite enhances the functionality of this device, featuring an exceptionally advanced automatic feedback suppressor, gain sharing automatic microphone mixing, ambient noise sensing and level adjustment, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, frequency-keyed noise gates, and signal delay up to 1,365ms on every channel. It also offers your choice of sinewave, pink or white noise generators.
Programming is easily accomplished using standard 10/100 Ethernet or RS-232 protocol and Protea ne Software on a PC platform. The hot-plug software control allows you to plug any function into any channel block even when running live audio, with no recompiling necessary. The automatic DHCP network IP configuration significantly reduces network setup time, while the multi-level software security with password access ensures a tamper-proof audio system.
Ideal for use in live performances, recording studios, and broadcast facilities, this Network-Enabled Digital Signal Processor with 8-Channel Mic Inputs & Protea Software Suite is a versatile and reliable choice for your professional audio needs.
