The ne8800 stands out with its robust DSP signal processing capabilities, powered by multiple SHARC 32-Bit processors that operate at sample rates of 48kHz or 96kHz, ensuring high-fidelity audio processing. The comprehensive processing library includes a flexible 8x8 matrix mixer, allowing for intricate routing configurations, and a wide range of equalization options, such as graphic, parametric, and all-pass filters, to tailor the sound to your exact specifications.

Crossover filters are also available in various forms, including 8th-order Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and notched Linkwitz-Riley, providing precise frequency separation for multi-way speaker systems. The processor is equipped with an advanced automatic feedback suppressor, FIR filter capability, and a suite of dynamic tools like autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, and frequency-keyed noise gates to maintain optimal audio performance in any setting.
