This advanced processor is a perfect complement to our amplifiers, offering easy setup and control via standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and Protea ne Software, eliminating the need for special outboard control units.This innovative audio system processor features an analog line input/output format with four option bays that support network audio, AES3, and mic input options. It boasts an extensive DSP signal processing library powered by multiple SHARC 32-Bit processors with sample rates of either 48kHz or 96kHz. The ne8800 processor offers a comprehensive array of processing blocks, including a matrix mixer available in 4x4, 4x8, or 8x8 configurations, and a full range of graphic, parametric, and all pass equalization. It also includes crossover filters such as 8th-order Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and notched Linkwitz-Riley.The Protea Software Suite enhances the processor's capabilities with an advanced automatic feedback suppressor, FIR filter capability, gain sharing automatic microphone mixing, ambient noise sensing and level adjustment, autolevelers, compressors, matrix duckers, limiters, and frequency-keyed noise gates. It also offers signal delay up to 1,365ms on every channel and a choice of sinewave, pink, or white noise generators.The ne8800 processor is designed for seamless integration into your audio setup, with hot-plug software control that allows you to plug any function into any channel block, even when running live audio. It also features automatic DHCP network IP configuration for reduced network setup time and multi-level software security with password access for a tamper-proof audio system.This professional-grade processor is equipped with eight inputs and eight outputs, and uses fixed-path architecture with hot-pluggable audio functions anywhere in the signal path to reduce setup time. All control and monitoring programming is accomplished using a PC platform and standard Ethernet network connection or RS-232 protocol. The ne8800 processor is designed for easy installation in a standard 19" rack using 2 spaces (3.5" high). It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8, 7 (Vista/XP) 32 & 64 bit systems, making it a versatile choice for audio professionals seeking an intuitive and easy-to-navigate DSP.
