This model is networkable and boasts Ethernet Control using Protea NE software, allowing for seamless integration and control over your audio network. It also supports serial data control by Ashly programmable remotes or third-party controllers, providing you with additional flexibility.The amplifier comes equipped with aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, and fault condition logic outputs. It also offers optional Dante, CobraNet, or AES3 digital audio capability when factory-installed. The real-time clock with event scheduler allows for automatic execution of selected functions and tasks, programmed using PneS software and stored in the amplifier.The NXE1.54 also features Ashly Remote Control via a free iPad app, allowing for custom design of secure wireless control over a network. Its Class-D Switching Amplifier Technology features a switch-mode power supply that automatically detects 110 - 120VAC or 220 - 240VAC operation, making the NXE1.54 one of the lightest in its class.This high-quality amplifier also offers multi-mode operation with selectable outputs on each channel, allowing you to choose the desired output mode. Set the DIP-switch configuration for Low Impedance (2, 4, and 8 Ohm), or Constant Voltage (70V or 100V), and you're ready to go. The NXE1.54 also incorporates Ashly's EMS (Energy Management System), which provides an automatic sleep-mode drawing less than 1 Watt (defeatable) for energy efficiency.The NXE1.54 is designed with multiple internal power supplies to provide increased channel separation and reliability. It is capable of driving 2 Ohm loads at full power, with a maximum rated output power of 1,500W per channel at Low Z and 70V modes, and 1,250W in 100V mode. The amplifier features temperature-dependent variable speed forced-air cooling, ensuring it stays cool even under heavy use.The unit is compact and lightweight, weighing less than 28.7 lbs (13kg), and measures 19"W x 3.5"H x 16.8"D (483mm x 89mm x 428mm), making it easy to mount in a standard 19" rack. The front panel features a power switch and level controls that can be disabled, and LEDs that indicate Protect, Sleep, Disabled, Com, and Bridge mode status, as well as Temperature, Output Current, Output Signal, and Clipping/Mute status per channel.
