Whether you're outfitting performance venues, stadiums, arenas, convention centers, schools, storefronts, or worship spaces, this amplifier delivers reliable, superior sound.
This advanced amplifier is part of the NX series, available in 2 or 4-channel models as NX (base model series), NXE (network-able), or NXP (networkable + DSP). The NXP4004 stands out with its networkability and built-in Protea DSP, allowing for advanced signal processing and equalization. It also includes an OPDante option card for easy integration with Dante networked audio systems.
The NXP4004 offers Ethernet control using Protea NE software and serial data control by Ashly programmable remotes or third-party controllers. It also features aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, fault condition logic outputs, and optional Dante, CobraNet, or AES3 digital audio capability (factory-installed).
This amplifier is equipped with a Real-Time Clock with Event Scheduler for automatic execution of selected functions and tasks. It also offers Ashly Remote Control via an iPad app for custom design of secure wireless control over a network. The 32-bit SHARC DSP Processing at 48kHz or 96kHz Sample Rates provides comprehensive software control of digital signal processing, matrix and auto-mixing, and a built-in signal generator for test tone and noise-masking.
The NXP4004 is FIR Filter-Ready and uses Class-D Switching Amplifier Technology. It features a switch-mode power supply which automatically detects 110 - 120VAC or 220 - 240VAC operation. The Multi-Mode Operation Selectable Outputs on each channel allow you to choose the desired output mode. Set the DIP-switch configuration for Low Impedance (2, 4, and 8 Ohm), or Constant Voltage (70V or 100V), and you're set to go.
The NXP4004 is energy efficient with its power-saving Ashly EMS (Energy Management System) which provides an automatic sleep-mode drawing less than 1 Watt (defeatable). It also has multiple internal power supplies for increased channel separation and reliability.
The NXP4004 is a 4 channel multi-mode amplifier capable of driving 2 Ohm loads at full power. The maximum rated output power is 400W per channel at Low Z, 70V, and 100V mode. Each channel has selectable output mode of Low Z, 70V, or 100V, an 80Hz high-pass filter, input limiter, and input gain settings of 26dB, 32dB, 38dB, or 1.4V. Each channel also has remote DC level control.
