Prakash H : Which should I choose between RT N65U or RT N66U and why?PHILIP K : The differences in spec are mainly the 66 has a faster wireless speed of up to 450Mb/s whilst the 56 is rated at 300Mb/s. The 66 offers more "features" like a built in print server but whether you need the extra facilities only you can tell. Like all top models manufacturers load them with features but whether they are worth the money is questionable.GREGORY S : RT N66U delivers bandwidth of 450Mbps at 2.4GHz and 1.3Gbps at 5GHz concurrently. RT N65U delivers bandwidth 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands speed up to 1Gbps concurrently.

Lots of punch

My ancient router died, so I looked at a number of replacements, finally buying the Asus unit. I live in a large 2 level home, with poured concrete walls, hence coverage and penetration are issues. The Asus covers the entire house including the garage with no problems, is fast, and has been dead reliable for the several months I have owned it. Set-up was also a breeze, no problems re-establishing my home intranet, no compatibility issues with existing computers/printers/scanners/network storage. I am very satisfied.
