Shortly after I purchased this device the power supply that came with it burned out. I bought an aftermarket power supply for under $20 from [@].I just wanted to post this because when I googled the problem I was having it seemed to be fairly common. I feel ASUS should simply address this issue by including a better power supply.

I use the TP at home and at work. At home I use it when I don't feel like being tied at my desk. I take it to Panera or Starbucks and read ebooks or play games and at work I use it to take notes (by hand). It's also great for corporate email and other tasks that require light typing. Screen is awesome. Bight, high rez.... Has expandability features not available on iPad and Galaxy. Throw in the keyboard and this thing is a winner, though it's NOT a replacement for a laptop if your working a lot of office apps, especially PP and Excel. Though my TP works 100% the quality control was a bit lax. My unit has 1 bright spot on the screen and 2-3 other spots that are just barley discernible. My guess is these units wouldn't have ever made it out the door if they wern't so far behind their release date. GPS is awful just like they are saying. All and all it's an excellent unit QC issues aside . I gave this unit a 4-5 because of the QC probs, but from a purely functional standpoint it's an easy 5 out of 5.
