I've owned an iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Samsung Note 8, Asus Nexus 7 1st gen, Microsoft Surface and iPad 4 Retina, in that order and this is by far the best tablet I've ever had. The only reason I put it down is when the battery is dead. The screen is bright and sharp, better than the iPad Retina. It is lighter than the iPad and Samsung, almost feels like an iPad Air. Gaming is smooth. The keyboard dock is excellent. The keys remind me of the quality of my MacBook Air. Overall feels sturdy and smooth around the edges. The Transformer is everything that the Surface wanted to be but could not deliver. The Android version of Asus is much cleaner, less bloatware than Samsung's. The only con is that the keyboard is on the heavy side.

Hi I just wanted to write to add on to my review. The Tf701t with its supernote program is awesome. No need for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and pay extra for the stylus. This device has outstanding hand writing recognition. I was able to use this with little to no problem. Trust me when I say that I have the worst handwriting in the world but the tablet recognized almost 100% of what i was writing. I even entered text in using cursive handwriting. Would you believe the tablet was able to recognize that as well. Thank you so much Asus. I did have a slight problem with the charging cable for seem reason the adhesive for the connector wasn't good so I sent an email to Adorama who graciously refunded $ of my money since there was nothing wrong with the tablet just the cable. Thank you Adorama

When purchasing this tablet I had settled down to three tablets. The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, the LG 8.3, or the Asus TF701T. Since I am writing this review, I am sure you know which one I settled on. The Asus Transformer TF701T this tablet has one of the best screens out in the market only being surpassed by a few other tablets. The feel of the tablet feels just right, hard plastic as though you were holding a light book typing on it. The speed is excellent, I had a nook hd+ which my partner now has and it couldn't keep up with my typing on it. This one thank goodness can. I love reading comics so the 10.1 size is perfect almost that of the size of a comic. I have compared several comics that I have on both the nook hd+ and this one. I am amazed on how much just about 40 pixels per inch makes for a picture. The gps is extremely fast and accurate. I don't like cameras on tablets so I won't comment on the camera. If you are looking for a tablet that you can mold to your liking then please take a look at this tablet. Adorama delivered my tablet before the 2 day shipping was up so Adorama deserves kudos for their service. I wouldn't hesitate at this moment to recommend or buy another product from Adorama.

I use my tablet daily and have upgraded every year as Asus comes out with a better Transformer. The screen is clear and bright and the speed of the tablet is exceptionally fast. I've always had good support from Asus when I needed it.
