But the older model Asus VX7SX-DH71 has the same cpu as newer model, but more ram (an extra 4 gig) and an upgrade of Windows 7 Ultimate edition. For me I need the full 16 gig of ram for video editing so that was the selling point for me. I'm not totally sure you can fit a full 16 gig in the newer model either. Att DeeANDREW J : If the question is specifically about the Asus Zenbook, I can't answer it. My Dell had completely different components, as well as manufacturer. Sorry!BIJAN O : I'm very happy with it and I still use it everyday. The battery lasts forever and unlike my classmates, I never have toworry about being close to a wall plug. The harddrive did go kaput though but I was able to get that fixed for free through the warranty which was pretty pain free. The harddrive crashed about one year in. I would recommend keeping regular backups with any laptop.
