I bought this Q425MA-U71TB from Best Buy on May 9, 2025 to replace my old Asus Q405. This ZenBook is my Q405 on steroids. I hope I get the trouble free service that I had with my Q405.

This laptop has a highly powerful processor that can do any kind of work, also the SSD, RAM and Display are very stunning. But i noticed, when it plugged in with AC power and CPU load is in mid-level, the CPU temperature so high and also the laptop get noticeable hot. I think Asus must be concentrate this heating issue.

I bought this 3 weeks ago after trading my old Asus lap top in. Man, what an upgrade in technology! This laptop is super-fast has a lit keyboard and very easy to set up and continue to use where I left off. The solid-state hard drive makes for a very fast machine. Very versatile for word processing, watching videos, live streaming and mild gaming. The laptop is also very portable and light to carry around. An excellent general-purpose computer that will serve me well for many years!

I had my last laptop since 2017, and waited 5 years to make a change. I am so glad that after doing a lot of research, I landed on this ASUS ZenBook. It has been a HUGE gamechanger for me. With the 16GB RAM and 1TB memory, I am able to do everything I need to do. As a PhD candidate, I am constantly running multiple webpages and programs to do my research. Everything so far on this laptop has worked seamlessly. It is extremely fast and able to multitask like I have to. I am so happy with this upgrade. This computer is fantastic!

I bought this a few months ago, and overall, I like it. It has a great keyboard layout, the number pad on the trackpad is a nice extra (although I end up turning it off fairly often because it doesn't always recognize gestures vs. intentional number input), a headphones jack (something that's becoming too rare!), nice speaker sound, and it's fast. The biggest downside is the single USBA port. I ended up buying a USBC bus to be able to accommodate my mouse, keyboard, and flash drives. The other issue I had (which seems to be resolved now) was a white border that was appearing around the outside of the screen intermittently for the first couple of months (technicians told me it seemed to be a software issue, not hardware). Overall, I'm satisfied. (Disclosure: This review was provided to receive a warranty extension.)

I bought my laptop 5 months ago and when I purchased didn't bother buying insurance because of the one-year ADP warranty said on the specifications in best buy. When I called the c.s, they didn't accept my warranty because they said the stickers on the box for warranty are not applicable if you bought in best buy. Now I struggle with a broken laptop

I like this laptop, I think it's really the best value for the money. the processor is just amazing, ryzen 9 pulls every task easily and surprisingly the fans are so quiet. I thought that because of this processor it would drain battery like a horse but the battery lasts a solid 5 - 6 hours of intense work. Also it's so thin and lightweight - looks stunning . The only down side is that you cant upgrade ram to 32 ); . P.S. I'm getting 3 months of warranty extension for this review.

The Asus Zenbook 14 UX425EA is a quality machine that is more than capable of handling everyday computing tasks. The i7 processor is plenty powerful, the keyboard has a very nice key travel and is very comfortable to type with. I would recommend this laptop to any student as it is perfect for multitasking and every task you may encounter.

I loved my previous Asus laptop i got 5 years ago. I still love it and have no issues but my 7y/o has decided to take it over so I bought this one. I'm still setting things up and loving all the features it has. I especially love logging in with facial recognition and the happy Hello greeting I get. It's the little things lol. My only two issues: 1) the first 2 weeks I noticed that when I would log back in after my screen went to sleep that it would be frozen and require a hard shut down. Then when starting back up it was seriously lag. The problem seemed to have fixed itself so it might have been an update of some sort? 2) The asus link feature that connects your phone to your computer is kind of garbage. It is very very laggy and your cursor sensitivity when using your phone from your computer is franzy as heck. Connecting to your device the Windows way is extremely smooth. Other wise, I really like it :) *disclosure: I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback

I would have given this a 5/5 rating, even if this was a tad bit costlier, like around 100$ more. This laptop is perfect in every sense: great ips display with high brightness, exceptional build and very very light weighted (trust me), premium metal body, wifi6, usb-c with charging in both ports and 10gbps transfer rate, ryzen 5500u 6 core cpu, nvidia 450mx which is the latest graphics...everything is prefect, no regrets, best laptop available for this price range....(wait, im not finished...lol)...expect the RAM...it's ...its sad...in the sense that its only 8gb...and worst of all, its not expandable...and when i consider, 16gb will only be maximum $60-$100 costlier...for this small issue, i won't be able to use this after 2 years...really sad...anyways, i bought it as this cost me only $500 in offer at micro center... hope this helps by the way, the model i have selected is a different one as the model i own isn't listed in the review section...

Bought this a few months ago from Costco (actual Costco model number UX434F). Super fast boot due to the large SSD and 10th gen i7. Downloads from the internet via the wireless faster than my older hard wired i7 desktop and I only am connected to the 2.4ghz for better portability. Touch screen works great although sensitive to my fat fingers. Little screen pad is useful, too.

I purchased my ASUS Zenbook 14 in March at BestBuy, had seen some reviews on it. In the past I have owned HP, and Dell notebooks. This outperforms them hands down. I have the power not only to play GTA5 but also run some fairly large spreadsheets. It is very light, but tough, battery life is great, keyboard is solid, stays cool on your lap as long as you have the screen all the way back. I recommend it to friends, and would buy it again.

I purchased this laptop a month ago to replace my aging Zenbook. I am pleasantly surprised with all the new features that have been implemented into the new Zenbook series. I am especially happy about the extended battery time that it provides as well as the integrated numeric keypad embedded into the mouse pad. I use Sage accounting and this number pad feature totally speeds up my entry time. The processor speed and graphics quality is over the top amazing. I highly recommend this Zenbook to all and look forward to using Asus products in the future.
