The iOptron AZ Mount Pro arrived in excellent condition and was super easy to set up. (iOptron has all of their manuals online also, so if you need detailed help, there it is.) This mount handled my Takahashi FC100DL (a 22# optical tube package) with ease. With a built-in rechargeable battery, there was no need for cords. And, as the AZ Mount Pro generates its own wi-fi link, the mount showed up on my iPad with ease. One click later, I was connected to the mount/telescope with SkySafari which then let me jump from object to object just by touching the iPad screen. First night out: Saturn's rings, surface details on Mars, double stars, star clusters and the Moon.
