I've used other 2.4Ghz mics and had issues with dropouts and interference. These are simple to use and work great!

Got this $100 off what everyone else was selling it for. Thanks Adorama. Works great, very quiet compared to the a series 700 Audio Technica wireless. The only drawback is handling noise, but it is manageable.

I'm not sure about the battery life, because I used rechargeable battery and it's only last around 3 hours. You probably get more battery life with regular name brand. Other than that, the microphone sounds great and the connection between the microphone and the receiver is fast and stable. I have not tested the range of the wireless. So far I've not experiencing any problems or issues. I would have given it a five star, if it wasn't the short rechargeable battery life.

The Audio-Technica ATW-1102 is a digital wireless handheld microphone solution that can be used for public speaking, live singing and more. The set includes the ATW-R1100 digital receiver and the ATW-T1002 handheld microphone transmitter. It uses 24-bit, 48 kHz digital audio and operates free from TV interference in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Built for expandability, you can use up to eight systems simultaneously.
The ATW-T1002 handheld microphone transmitter features a dynamic, unidirectional element that is designed to reject sound from the back and sides of the mic. This design is ideal for stage use, helping to achieve higher gain before feedback and greater isolation for the speaker or singer. The ATW-T1002 is also equipped with a mute switch and an input level control. The mute switch can come in handy in live music or public speaking settings for quickly muting the sound so you can give discrete instructions to others on stage without the audience hearing what you are saying. The input level control can be adjusted to customize the sensitivity of the microphone to match how loud or soft you sing or speak. This can help to ensure that every word you say is captured as well as help to avoid clipping and unwanted distortion.
Also including the ATW-R1100 digital receiver, the ATW-1102 wireless system is engineered to quickly find the best signal possible, utilizing an automatic frequency selection function that chooses open bands for you when you "pair" your transmitter with the receiver. Also designed to combat interference, the ATW-1102 system uses three different diversity techniques. Using frequency diversity, the system sends the wireless signal on two separate channels simultaneously and chooses the one with the clearest signal. It also transmits the signal across multiple time intervals in order to fight multipath interference. This is known as time diversity. Furthermore, the system also makes use of space diversity, choosing between the receiver's dual antennas depending on which is picking up the best signal integrity.
