About Audio-Technica ATW-T5201

Before you embark on your next professional tour, stadium event, concert, festival, or religious gathering, consider the unparalleled audio quality and critically acclaimed performance of the Audio-Technica 5000 Series. This series is globally recognized by artists, broadcasters, and presenters for its exceptional sound transmission capabilities.

The 5000 Series offers two robust transmitters: the ATW-T5201 body-pack transmitter and the ATW-T5202 handheld transmitter. Both are designed with durable, ergonomic metal bodies, ensuring longevity and comfort during extended use. Their highly visible OLED screens can be switched between standard and performance views, offering key metering at a glance.

These transmitters are not just about aesthetics; they are packed with programmable features, soft-touch controls, and adjustable RF power levels (2 mW/10 mW/50 mW). This allows for customization to suit your specific audio needs.

The ATW-T5201 and ATW-T5202 are available in two distinct frequency ranges: DE1 (470-590 MHz) and EF2 (580-608 MHz, 657-663 MHz). This ensures comprehensive coverage of the receiver's bandwidth, making them suitable for a wide range of professional audio applications.

The compact ATW-T5201 is equipped with Audio-Technica's new rugged cH-style screw-down 4-pin connector. This ensures a secure connection to A-T's cH-style lavalier and headworn microphones, or cables, providing reliable and uninterrupted audio transmission.

The ATW-T5202, on the other hand, includes a high-pass filter and an industry-standard thread mount. This allows for the use of six interchangeable A-T microphone capsules, as well as other compatible capsules, offering versatility and adaptability.

The 5000 Series components and compatible accessories are available individually, providing you with the flexibility to construct a system that perfectly fits your audio needs. Trust in the Audio-Technica 5000 Series for your professional audio requirements.

Audio-Technica ATW-T5201 Features

  • Auto Squelch feature automatically adjusts squelch setting to maximize range while minimizing potential interference
  • Unique multifunction button on the handheld and body-pack transmitters can be used to switch to a backup frequency (on both transmitter and receiver) should interference be encountered
  • Dual Compander circuitry processes high and low frequencies separately for unmatched audio quality
  • Both transmitters are available in two bands - DE1 (470-590 MHz) and EF2 (580-608 MHz, 657-663 MHz) - and offer rugged, ergonomic metal bodies, highly visible OLED displays, programmable features, soft-touch controls, and switchable 2/10/50 mW RF power
  • Handheld transmitter features high-pass filter and accepts six interchangeable microphone capsules (based on best-selling Audio-Technica models) that use industry-standard thread mount and provide low-handling noise
  • New rugged cH-style connector on body-pack transmitter provides secure connection to lavalier mics, headworn mics, and cables with cH-style screw-down 4-pin connector
  • Advanced digital Tone Lock squelch effectively blocks stray RF; the digitally encoded tone also communicates transmitter data for receiver display
  • Wireless network monitoring and control software
  • 5000 Series components are offered individually - not as preconfigured systems - for greater flexibility
