The Atlona AT-DVI15SRS DVI Over Single CAT5e Powerless Mini-Extender, with resolution of 1024x768 @ 60Hz, extends PC DVI transmission distance up to 100' (30m). It uses 1 CAT-5/5e to transmit digital video from the PC to a remote monitor/projector. The unit meets the DVI 1.1 compliant standard.

With integrated EDID (extended display identification data), the PC will continue sending digital signals even if the monitor is disconnected. You can then reconnect the monitor in a remote location without rebooting the operating system. The AT-DVI15SRS DVI Over Single CAT5e Powerless Mini-Extender comes with an identical transmitter and a receiver unit. Additionally, the receiver is attached to the monitor, while the transmitter to the PC DVI output. The successful connection is indicated by blinking of 2 LED lights on the RJ45 connector.
