Atlona Technologies 8 by 8 HDMI Matrix Switcher, 6.75Gbps Bandwidth

The Atlona Technologies 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switcher supports up to 1080p video and 1920x1200 computer resolutions and can be controlled with an included remote, by RS-232 and the front panel. A free firmware update is on the agenda by Atlona to enable TCP/IP control via the switcher's Ethernet port. This switcher manages EDID communication between sources and displays and automatically provides a compatible EDID at start up and it features an EDID learning function that can be customized for any connected component. Audio can be de-embedded from the HDMI inputs and routed to amps or receivers by S/PDIF coaxial outputs. All lossy and lossless audio formats are supported, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, full 3D and ARC.
