Absolutely Incredible

I use these headphones a lot, car rides, at work, and between classes. Being my first pair of nicer headphones, it was an extremely good buy. I've always wanted a pair of good headphones with nice sound quality and aesthetic and these headphones is everything I wanted and more. The first time I tried these specific headphones on was at a best buy. I was contemplating buying a pair of beats just because the colors and sleekness of the design was tempting. But after trying each line of beats I was let down by the extreme low quality of audio and obnoxious focus on bass. These headphones from Audio Technica have just the design sleekness and audio quality I was looking for. I remember listening to every high quality song I owned on these just to pick up little details in songs I've never heard before. I have now owned these bad boys for over a year and I'm extremely pleased with how well the battery life is. On top of the battery life and audio quality is durability. A few weeks ago my girlfriend was dropping me off at work when I had my hands full of things to bring into work. As I walked towards the door I was thinking something was missing when my girlfriend rolled down the window asking if she had ran something over. Sure enough, my headphones were lying in the road in the little leather carrying bag with a tire mark over the bag. I thought for sure they were done, but they were practically perfect. There's barely any visible damage. The power button was sort of stuck in the off position but I was able to get the button to un-stick and then there are some small dents on the metal backing of one of the cups along with one tiny crack on the rim where it meets the cup. And a slight bend of a metal ring around the right cup Other than that, everything still works flawlessly. It was truly remarkable and definitely set my standards higher on what makes a good pair of headphones.

Deadly issue: stereo sound or microphone

There is only one issue that kills this product. Due to limitations of Bluetooth, you can' use stereo sound and the microphone simultaneously. When you play a game, you need to get enemies' positions based on stereo sound, and you also need to communicate with teammates. If you use these headphones, you can either get enemies' positions based on stereo sound, or communicate with teammates with one channel sound. You can't have them both at the same time!

The best of the best

These headphones have the best sound out of from anything in the price range. The audio is clear and the mids are perfect for my ear.

Product might need work

I got a pair of these headphones. Within a week they would not turn on anymore. Sent them back, got another pair. Within a week the second pair would not turn on anymore. They still need to develop these, or fix the factory there coming out of near me. Good luck there might be a chance you'll have a dud pair like me. They don't sound that great either. Just get the m50s there so much better and cheaper, especially if your producing music with them.

THANK YOU SP MUCH AUDIO TECHNICA.

Wow....where do I start. I guess it's important that you know where I have been before you know how I got here. I have had some of the most interesting music aids from Weststone, Ultimate ears, beats, Bose, and Sony's. I love sound and music. Until now, music has always been about base balance for me. I use to seek out the best bass headphone or earphones out there when I was younger and didn't really understand quality but the older I got I started to look for precise sound and balance. Yes I wanted bass but only clear and exact bass would work for me. These headphones nailed this. The clarity I get with these headphones were a complete game changer for me. The bad thing about getting these headphones is that after listening to them you will not find anything else worth listening to. No other headphone I have tested creates the balance I have with these. Either they are horribly muddy sounding with too much base and not enough mids or they are completely void of bass and too high. I just don't think I can find a better pair right now for me and my ears. Most headphones on the market have adapted the thought pattern that headphones should be Noise canceling. I completely disagree and want nothing to do with noise canceling again . It completely made me sick with headaches and took away from the overall sound quality whenever I would listen to any pair of headphones that had them. These headphone, thank goodness, don't have such features and I love it for it.

Great headphones, to me they're the Bluetooth MTH-70X

Great headphones. Sonically, these are Bluetooth versions of the ATH-M70X. They sound exactly the same to me in a quick A/B. Would've preferred an option for a wired connection, but other than that I like them. Not a fan of the volume switch, the call audio isn't as loud as I would want my calls to be, but other than that these headphones are great. Just like the 70X, which I use for music production, you hear everything in the mix. Nothing exaggerated, no inflated bass, cheat mids and crisp highs. If you enjoy clarity in your music or whatever you listen to, these are for you.

Excellentent...

I've owned these since Oct. 2017 and I'm very pleased with them. For me they just let the music come through. Very clean and dynamic sound. Works well with my iPhone X and Pixel 2, also worked with my old Note8 and Samsung S8. I really like these. I also own the Plantronics Back Beat Pro 2, Bowers & Wilkens PX. These easily fit into my headphone rotation. I just wish it had voice prompts and a better pause and play mechanism, although the controls it does have work well, actually flawlessly, kind of like the music presentation...

The best headphones ever, crystal clear sound and ssound sep

Everything about these headphones is exceptional, beautiful crisp sound straight out the box and despite people saying they are light on bass, I have found the bass to be a true replication and not overemphasised like most headphone manufacturers tend to make theirs. Overall, just brilliant and a pleasure to listen too.

Finally the BT headphone I was waiting for.

Initial impressions: The build quality is quite good. No creaking and these has to be the most comfortable headphones I've gotten so far without having to upgrade the earpads. This headphone has no option for regular headphone cables and will only connect to a laptop with the micro USB cable that comes with. Pairing: One of the easiest headphones to pair with an iPhone. Turn it on and go to your BT devices on your iPhone and you should see ATH-DSR7BT. Hit connect and you're done. It can be paired to at least 9 devices too if you are so inclined. Sound: Sound signature is typical Audio Technica which is very neutral and bass is very tight without the boost you typically hear from Beats headphones. Midrange is very nice which makes voices sound very clear and good without any pronounced sibilance. (meaning words starting with S, T and Z don't sound harsh or your don't hear any hissing) It doesn't have noise cancelling on it so it remains how it will fair in noisy environments. At maximum volume setting without any music signal it's also very quiet which is a good thing. I think I'll be very happy with this headphone for portable and daily use and leave my wired headphones for home use. Using it with the supplied USB cable and plugging into my Macbook it is recognized immediately. Sound through the USB wired connection opens up the music even more but the USB cable supplied with it is quite stiff.

The ATH-DSR7BT over-ear wireless headphones gift your ears with Digital Sound Reality. These innovative headphones feature Audio-Technica's new Pure Digital Drive system, allowing them to operate without the sound-degrading D/A converter found in conventional wireless headphones. By utilizing Trigence Semiconductor's Dnote chipset, the ATH-DSR7BT headphones are capable of receiving a Bluetooth wireless transmission, processing the digital audio signal and transferring it to the drivers where the digital pulses of the chipset move the voice coil and diaphragm forward and backward to create the sound waves heard by the listener.

The Pure Digital Drive system likewise depends on re-engineered 45 mm True Motion Drivers, which feature specially designed diaphragms and lightweight, bobbin-wound voice coils to deliver incredibly nuanced, high-resolution sound reproduction. A pair of acoustic resistors controls the airflow in front of and behind the diaphragm to ensure a natural, balanced sound and the entire driver assembly is housed within a layered aluminum structure that minimizes unwanted resonance and isolates the electric circuitry from the housing's acoustic space, resulting in optimal phase and transient response.

The Pure Digital Drive system also enables the ATH-DSR7BT to overcome the sonic limitations of conventional Bluetooth wireless transmissions by supporting the 24-bit/48kHz Qualcomm aptX HD codec. (aptX, AAC and SBC codecs are also supported.) The headphones can reproduce Hi-Res Audio when connected to a computer or other digital playback device via the included 2.0m (6.6') USB cable.

The ATH-DSR7BT is equipped with a microphone, volume control and simple tap control for answering/ending calls and playing/pausing music on a smartphone or other device. Three LED indicators allow you to easily monitor pairing and charging status, battery level and the codec currently in use. The headphones' internal lithium polymer battery provides approximately 15 hours of continuous use (up to 1000 hours in standby mode) and can be recharged using the included USB cable.
