I have had this mount for about three months now and really enjoy using it

I have had this mount for about three months now and really enjoy using it. Intuitive software, builtin GPS, sturdy, 2" stainless tripod make for a very good medium capacity eq mount. The weight to capacity ratio is excellent making this a lightweight system for mobile use. If one needs attention from Ioptron staff (have not for mount issues, just general inquiry) the service is great, quick, thoughtful response, even weekends.

The iOptron iEQ45 Pro GoTo Equatorial Mount with Tripod is the next generation premium astro-imaging mount. Its features include Stepper motor (instead of servo), Higher gear ratio and a number of visual changes (ex. plugs moved to sides, motor covers are singular piece and more). It offers the next generation GoTo technology not to mention built-in 32-bit GPS. With a payload of 45 lbs. balanced - it comes standard with a calibrated dark field illumination polar scope and a sturdy 2" stainless steel tripod. It also fits both Vixen and Losmandy-type mounting plates. Its lighter weight (only 25lbs) makes it much easier to carry.
