The iOptron 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope (MC90) is a great astronomy telescope that is a powerful yet small enough to take anywhere. Multi-coatings applied to the curved front lens assure the highest possible light transmission. Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope dramatically reduces the chromatic aberration that plagues its refractor counterparts. With a focal length of 1200mm, the MC90 exhibits all the performance of classic long-tube 90mm refractors, with a compact tube. This light weight, ultra-compact scope offers a great combination of power and transportability and brings stargazing to a whole other level.
The MC90 also equips with an internal flip mirror for dual viewing. As easy as flipping a switch, the MC90 enables the astrophotographer to find, center and focus a target object visually with a 1.25" telescope eyepiece, then photograph it with a camera. All without swapping out any equipment. The MC90 comes with 2 optical eyepieces (9mm and 25mm) and a 45 deg. erect prism diagonal. The equipped dovetail makes it fit to any telescope mount that accepts Vixen-style dovetail. The combination of iOptron's MC90 and Cube or Cube Pro goto telescope mount is the ideal choice for sky surfing and astrophotography.
