Item is well built, very nice machining.  The Orion Atlas EQ-G fits like a glove.  However ioptron advertises this adapter works with the HEQ5.  I found this not to be the case without a further adapter to allow the HEQ5 to mount to an EQ6 tripod.  but I suspect that that will work just fine once the additional adapter comes in

Does the Job as expected

Works well

Fits my Orion Atlas mount perfectly. I am using it as a pier plate for on top of my concrete pier. My only grip was the confusion about what exactly I was receiving when I ordered the product. A lot of the pictures for this has the top plate and 3 post and a bottom plate in the picture. I thought I received the wrong thing at first but it is perfect!
