Bad Design but Necessary

OK, first if you buy an Atomos Ninja Inferno and want clean audio in, you have to buy this thing. Otherwise you're forced into feeding audio into the camera and using the HDMI audio tracks. That can put you at the mercy of an inferior audio limiter. Second, this thing hangs off the side of the Atomos like like a horse tail. With all that weight dangling off the side of the rig, expect to put time into jury-rigging it for safety. This is just plain simple laziness on the part of Atomos. And third, it's ridiculously expensive. If I'd have known that the Ninja Inferno's audio was set up this way, I'd have passed and waited for the next version. Disappointed.
