What preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating is two things. 1.) there is an orange tint that reading more into it, is fairly common amongst most users. 2.) It's ridiculous how much add ons you need to purchase separately to actually use this monitor.

LOVE this recording monitor. Its a classic for a reason. Beautiful image, easy to work with. Built like a tank. I use it mounted to my D850 on a Smallrig setup, couldn't be happier.

This is the most helpful tool for capturing files and nailing exposure. The Ninja V easily replaces the in-camera screen with so many more features. I can see the screen in direct sunlight and the file format choices are such a neccessity when importing and editing files into my NLE (Resolve). 24fps at 4k in DNxHR is worth it. From camera to timeline...then just start editing. One other feature, often overlooked, is the ability to record simultaneously to the SD card in the camera and to the Ninja V. This is great for people using cameras with one SD slot...this is like buying an insurance policy. Just this alone is worth the purchase. If you're on the fence about getting it...just do it. You will not regret it.

Excellent recorder. I purchased this because my Nikon DSLR has a 20 minute limit on built in recording. The size of the screen is really to see everyting in the scene. Very well built, solid construction. Would purchase again.

I love this thing! There are tons of guides and screens to help with everything from focus to exposure. The ability to record directly to SSD instead of being limited by my camera?s internal memory (and 20 minute limit) is a huge advantage as well. With just a few cheap accessories I was able to easily mount this to my Ronin and set myself up with a pretty nice little rig.

This device is amazing. Not only is it a great hi-brite focusing monitor with tools, it can also be used to record 4k pro-rez. I was on a shoot where someone forgot the media. We were two hours away from a town. One of these saved the day and allowed us to record. Worth every penny for the price. A great built product.
