Sound quality is great, they are heavy, but not anything that bothers me. Just be gentle with them, they aren't built to be tossed around.

I have nothing to compare it too. However it is quite amazing. The finer details I hear. I did not know existed till I put them on. My speakers are logitech G 560. If that helps

This headset is the headset to rule them all. It has a bass that is powerful but wont rattle your eyes, allowing you to stay focused and to jam. Then there is the battery. O.M.G. i have listened to close to over 24 hours of music so far, and its only at 78%.

I can't speak for owners of the Nova Pro Wireless, but I do own the previous model, the Arctis Pro Wireless (APW), which I've had since 2019. First off, the Maxwells are noticeably larger and more robust-probably due to the bigger drivers. The sound is rich and vibrant, making the APW sound thinner in comparison. While the Sonar and Audeze HQ allow for fine-tuning the sound to personal preferences, overall, I'm thoroughly enjoying the Maxwells over the APW. As for weight and comfort, it largely depends on how you mount or position the headset. I'm still finding the sweet spot for my somewhat large head, but any discomfort is far from unbearable. My ears have been spoiled by the excellent sound quality, so it's hard to let go. To enhance comfort, I've invested in Wicked Cushion - headband and ear cups. Additionally, I'm considering purchasing aftermarket cushioned straps that I came across in Reddit posts. These accessories could contribute to an even better overall experience IMO.

I bought the Audeze Penrose for the PS5 and was overly impressed by the sound quality with various video games that I play?then I had some Christmas money from 2023 and decided I wanted to upgrade to the Audeze Maxwell?I did notice an increase in volume level and volume quality?the build quality is beyond spectacular because there is a great amount of metal materials throughout the headset aka very little plastic?also the leather headband is very comfortable and I can wear it for 2-3 hour gaming sessions without any issue?this may seem a bit heavier than most headsets because the materials used to build this unit aren't just plastic?the ear cups are very comfy and my ears don't sweat/get hot?there is a reason why the Audeze Maxwell is the BEST gaming headset you can buy?

I am an audiophile and gamer, and all I have to say is WOW. This Headphone is impressive for the quality of music it puts out and the excellent game imaging. Audeze definitely came out with something that all the gaming headset companies need to rethink there sound quality.

Great quality. Comfortable, a little heavy, but manageable.

Solid headset does everything well, easy setup. Drawbacks are that it is definitely a little heavy, had to get aftermarket ear cushions because the stock ones were unbearably hot, and I do get a small amount of distortion in destiny 2 on pc. That may be an issue with game optimization. Overall do recommend if money isn't an issue and you want full wireless with great sound.

I'm really impressed with these. I needed wireless headphones for work calls and music and these are great. I do wish the there was a way to find tune the adjustments for comfort and unfortunately my unit came with a scratch on the top but they're really good for music. Honestly almost as good as my Sundaras.

I've had this Maxwell for about 10 days now and am quite happy with it. For reference, I previously used a Corsair Virtuoso SE. In comparison the Maxwell sounds much better. It is clearer and crisper. Is it night and day for someone without a practiced ear? No, but it is noticeably better. The battery life is impressive. I get 20-30 hours use before plugging it in out of force of habit. The wireless is much better. Previously a closed door would lose reception and a microwave oven nearby would scramble the sound. No such issues now. It is heavier, but the strap in the headband distributed the weight well. The cushions are deep enough and comfortable for several hours of use but not fantastic. Wicked Cushions now has replacements which I may try.

Sound quality is very good and construction feels solid. It's a bit tight around the ears for people with a large head like me

I know $300 is a lot of money for most, so many people are expecting a fully rounded product, and that's okay. But everyone needs to realize that every headset has its pros and cons. This headset bridges a gap between a truly audiophile experience and a gaming headset. Unfortunately, it sacrifices some traditional gaming headset features and functionality, along with a well polished and experienced gaming headset software/firmware experience. I'm okay with that, as it allows me to put on one headset for critical music listening, gaming, and phone connectivity. Some people won't, maybe if gaming is your main focus, or if the sound isn't for you. I happen to be a huge fan of planar sound (even though the non-EQ'd sound may sacrifice some areas of a traditional gaming headset), and I find the mic to be fantastic (when not using the AI noise filtering), so the pros outweigh the cons in my use case.

The Audeze Maxwell for XBOX is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The sound is amazing, the connection is strong, and they can get LOUD. other wireless I had tried in the past just didn't have the oomph I needed. These are expensive but you get what you pay for. You wont regret it.

It's a no brainer. 300 usd for a audeze planar launched in 2023. It tubes well as per your requirement and i added like 6dbs of bass and it sounds astounding

This headset sets a new standard for the price point, great spatial audio, great closed back, great passive noise isolation, best of the best for wireless headsets at a reasonable price point. I love everything about this headset with a small complaint about the microphone. The noise suppression/cancelling built into microphone is solid. The mic quality is not very good. I think it is a misconception that gamers don't care about mic quality and that clarity outweighs quality. The Shure designed microphone is the only mic that works in this port and sounds hollow with noise suppression off, robotic with noise suppression low/high. The sidetone isn't perfectly executed but passable and rare for headsets. All in all, I highly recommend this headset, use the headset mic for convenience or pickup a desktop mic/xlr mic for homebase. I am a gaming headset enthusiast and have tried everything from 20$ garbo to several hundred dollar flagships and this is the best headset period.
