While catering to vocalists, musicians, performers, and presenters, the Audix Performance Series AP41/OM5-A Wireless System is engineered to demystify wireless technology with a professional-grade system that combines simplicity, reliability, and versatility. This system includes the R41 Receiver, H60 Handheld Transmitter, and the OM5 Dynamic Microphone, operating in Band A: 522-554MHz.
The R41 Receiver, available in both single and dual rack-mountable models, boasts a modern design, robust construction, and user-friendly menus. It features a 32 MHz extended spectrum receiver, microprocessor-controlled antenna diversity, and 106 pre-coordinated frequencies for swift, effortless, and dependable setup. With a 300' (91 Meters) operating range, this receiver offers a metal rack-mountable chassis, RF and AF indicators, and a high-contrast LCD display. Its one-touch auto scan and sync link the transmitter to the receiver via an infrared beam, providing a choice of balanced XLR or 1/4" outputs.
The H60 Handheld Transmitter, with its sleek, compact, and well-balanced design, is comfortable to hold and encased in a durable metal housing. It's a 64 MHz wide spectrum transmitter compatible with all Performance Series receivers. The transmitter features AF and RF gain control, modular and interchangeable capsule assemblies, and a high-contrast LCD display with group, channel, and battery indicators. It offers a 10-hour run time with AA batteries.
The OM5 Dynamic Vocal Microphone, designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA, is renowned for its clarity, feedback resistance, and ability to handle high SPL (Sound Pressure Levels) exceeding 144 dB without distortion. The OM5's hyper cardioid polar pattern is tightly and uniformly controlled, aiding in isolating vocals from other stage instruments. With a wide frequency range of 48 Hz - 19 kHz, the OM5 employs a VLM (Very Low Mass) diaphragm for natural response, accurate sound reproduction, and exceptional transient response. This microphone is naturally attenuated at 120 Hz to reduce boominess and handling noise, with a mid-range tailored for presence, allowing vocals to cut through the stage mix. The OM5 is crafted with a precision die-cast zinc alloy body, durable black E-coat finish, dent-resistant steel mesh grill, and gold-plated XLR connector, ensuring longevity and high performance.
