Good budget wireless headphones

I purchased these because I had a $100 budget, wanted ANC and wireless, and because I trust audio technica. Overall they are a great value for the money and I'm happy with them. I haven't timed it exactly but they last a LONG time (from what I'm used to) on a full charge. They sound nice. There can be some squeally high pitched sounds if you have them on before playing anything. I'm not an audio nerd or anything just an average user so I think it's just the noise cancelling but it goes away when music is playing. I've never owned high end headphones so these are totally fine for me but maybe not for someone used to high high quality. (They are an upgrade from my $10 earbuds I used to use) BUT the reason I made this review is because in the Q&A audio technica replied that you can turn off the ANC. THIS IS NOT TRUE. It's not a deal breaker for me but I am perturbed because I read through the Q&A before purchasing so I was disappointed. THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN ANC OFF. I tried asking AT directly and haven't gotten a reply. If there is a way to turn it off they haven't let me know. IT IS ALSO NOT TRUE that these headphones are foldable. THEY ARE NOT FOLDABLE. Another thing they got wrong in Q&A. Anyway, I'm happy with these headphones but unhappy with really poor attention to detail of whoever is answering questions about this product.

About Audio-Technica ATH-ANC500BT

The ATH-ANC500BT QuietPoint wireless over-ear headphones use proprietary active noise-cancelling technology to provide a comfortable listening environment in areas with high ambient noise. They also feature Bluetooth wireless technology and have a mic and button controls built into the left earcup for convenient handling of calls, music playback and volume adjustment.

The headphones' 40mm drivers supply powerful sound reproduction with exceptional clarity, whether operating over a Bluetooth wireless connection or a standard wired connection using the included 1.2m (3.9') audio cable with 3.5mm (1/8") stereo mini-plug. Memory-foam earpads provide excellent sound isolation and amazing comfort and the earcups fold in to make the headphones more compact and easy to transport.

An internal lithium polymer rechargeable battery powers the headphones, giving you approximately 20 hours of continuous Bluetooth and ANC use on a full charge. A 30cm (1') USB charging cable is included.
