The Audio Developments AD149 10x2 Input/Output VU Film Location Mixer with 2 AUX and MS has insert point on inputs and direct output from each Mic/Line input module. The three-band equalizer has a choice of four center frequencies in the MF section. It features transformer balanced inputs and outputs (main and auxiliary). The AD149 has two main outputs and two auxiliaries. The Limiter on L & R outputs can be linked for stereo operation. The AD149 provides M-S stereo facilities in main and monitor signal paths. It allows comprehensive monitor selection. The PPM Mixer has two monitor outputs for headphones or speaker amplifiers and two communication outputs with one return. The selection of monitor feeds to communication outputs and the mixer features a remote start facility. The ten pin multiway connectors is for output and returns. The six pin multiway connector is for outputs and returns, buffered for use with DAT. The mixer has fifteen way D connector for feeding equipment such as a meter bridge (AD096). A pair of meters either PPM or VU may be switched to read various outputs or follow the monitor and internal oscillator, 1kHz & 10kHz, selectable to L-R and/or auxiliary outputs. It has a interrupted tone which is optional on the left path. All connectors are presented on one surface of the case and in line with the corresponding module.
