The sound tends to be dry unless you turn the volume up.

These are amazing headphones. The sound quality is amazing, the bass on these is really deep and punchy without overpowering vocals or other mid-range/high-range sounds. These headphones are a bit of a tight clamp on the head which can cause discomfort but for the most part these are some of the best headphones I've owned.

I have had these for about two months and found the battery life to be very poor compared to cheaper headphones I've had before. Suddenly, they stop working altogether. Waste of money.

I am no audiophile so please take that into account. This is my second pair in this line, I have the wired version also but nothing I use now is wired anymore. I have tried Sony, Sennheiser, Bose, and Klipsch. These headphones are my favorite sound profile on them and is exactly what I want and I rarely touch the equalizer. The price of these is an incredible value in my opinion. Do they feel a little flimsy? Yes, but my wired ones are over ten years old and still in one piece other than replacing the ear pads there has been no issue.

Fantastic for DJing (even w/ bluetooth if you can find a low-latency bluetooth transmitter, which I did find). Also has LDAC support! (low-latency audio, iirc)

Only downside for me, is that I often touch the other controls by accident, when trying to find the volume controls.

I've had these headphones for over a year now. I mainly use them for gaming, but do sometimes use them for Teams calls for work and occasionally for listening to higher fidelity music. I've largely been happy with them. They're comfortable to wear (for me, at least) and audio quality has been good, whether over Bluetooth or via the 3.5mm input. That said, these phones are missing a few things. For one, they have the hardware for active noice cancelling (ANC), and yet it's not implemented in the firmware. For the price, I would expect ANC to be implemented. Audio Technica's other products that have ANC are missing features like AptX Low Latency and 3.5mm headset jacks, so there's not a full-featured product in their lineup at this price range. The other issue has to do with the microphones. There is currently no way to force the phones to act only as headphones and not as a headset without silly workarounds. When having things like Discord open, audio quality dips significantly and the headphones pass on through ambient noise because they expect to be used as microphone input. And to build off of this, the audio quality during calls is generally poor. Finally, replacing cups is a giant pain. My dogs ended up shredding one of the cups and I thought I was going to tear the replacement trying to get it on.

I've used the headphones in dual link mode, connected to my computer and my phone. I normally stream audio and/or video on my computer, but when I get a notification from my phone, it pauses the streaming if it's a phone call, but if it's just something like a text or other type of notification the sound comes through and the streaming continues without pausing. The technical department is very good at trying to satisfy the customer. One of the best technical departments I've ever worked with, not only for knowledge but also for their customer service. I wear these headphones all day every day, and they're very comfortable. They're so light that they feel flimsy. But, they do seem to be rather sturdy. They're connecting headpiece is made of some kind of metal which is very flexible but light at the same time.

Everything about the headphones are great EXCEPT for the construction. It has a very common issue of a flimsy plastic part within the hinge breaking causing the headphones to no longer sit flush with the head. I got this product a little under two years ago and it has broken the same way twice. I got it replaced under warranty, but I also had a pair of ATH M50-X that I got ten years ago that broke in exactly the same way. It has broken three times the same way. They are great headphones, but they will break on you, no question.

I would rate these 5/5, I purchased them to replace an old pair of ATH-SR6BT, which were metal and super durable. These are also very durable. I travel often and want to listen to my music while I wait on flights; they also stay on my head while working out on the elliptical no issues of them falling off. The sound is excellent. I don't have any disconnect issues. I did notice that if you sync the headphones to multiple products without unsyncing them. Example: I have it sync'd to my iPad and iPhone, if I walk near my iPad it interrupts the music and connects. I would suggest disconnecting so you don't run into that issue. Overall, they are durable and have great sound. I would buy them again.

Had to give it a 1 star because you can't give it a 0.

The sounds is amazing and they almost set themselves up, it really is almost as easy as taking them out of the box and turning them on to get them paired and working. I love the flexibility, comfort, volume, battery life, etc. Would absolutely recommend!

That would freeze how and then without a way to reset other than let the batter run out. New on/off button design is inferior to the mechanical switch of the older model.

When I first put them on I did not like how hard they clamped down on my ears and head. My ears are a bit sensitive to pressure and after wearing my Beats for an hour, my right ear often hurts. The Bose QC45s are so comfortable and sound really good. The ATs don't have all the features? I decide to try cranking the volume. Wow the ATs sound amazing at higher volume levels! The Bose and my corded Sony MDR-7506 start to sound harsh while the AT's just get better. I am very curious if the extra pressure squeezing my head has a positive effect on the sound? I do not mind the pressure on my ears as much as I expected. These have twice the battery life of the Bose and sound better, yes please.

Used for gaming and music making. I own the old cordless and bought as the old one started flaking in the ear pad and head section. Very disappointed in having a similar situation as the 1 star reviewer after about 2 months of use. It now works for about 15-20 minutes then "freezes" or basically is not operable with no sound and a blinking light. No troubleshoot info to fix.

Excellent sound, comfort and battery life. If you don't want noise cancellation these headphones will work for you.

This product was disappointing. I spent months looking for good quality headphones and I chose audio technica over other options. I was initially pleased with the headphones but shortly after I kept getting errors with them. The headphones would freeze and there is no simple way to reset them, it is not possible to turn them off or disconnect them. You would have to let the battery die and then plug them back in and turn them on or they would not work. Optionaly you would have to plug them in to the usb cord and reset them, the reset can only be done while plugged in. I checked trouble shooting and other online sources to try and resolve the issue but no dice. I tried contacting customer support but no luck. Do not buy and spend your money elsewhere.

These are great so far, I mostly use them for classes, casual music listening, and a bit of gaming. I personally hate noise cancelling headsets, so these are great! They are comfy, although the clamping force is a bit tight. This can hopefully be fixed by use over a period of time though. Passive noise cancellation just from the ear cups is fairly good, although the 360 swiveling earcups are great because I like to listen to music with one ear uncovered so I can still hear what's going on around me. So far so good, I will change this review if anything comes up, but given the record of AT in the past, I mostly likely won't run into anything.

I've used these for a few days now, both on and off campus, and around the city. They're solid bluetooth headphones for the price point. They maintain roughly the same quality audio as the studio M50's that AT makes, but bluetooth cant really ever reach that level of fidelity. They're good at blocking out ambient noise, and you dont need to have them up on high volume to drown out people talking, or the general sounds of a campus/generally noisy environment. I've messed around with the integrated google assistant a few times so far - the sound quality on the mic monitoring is poor, and picks up lots of ambient noise - i havent tried to use that outdoors yet, but i dont think it will work well in an outdoor setting if there's wind or background noise (a road, etc). I have used these as studio monitors to compare with standard M50's, by using the included 3.5mm Jack. Sound quality doesnt improve much using the included cable, and if you touch the cable at all, you can hear the sound travel into the headphones themselves. On top of that, the cord is only 3 feet. I was attempting to use it on a ProTools session and couldnt move to the opposite side of my mixing console, without these being restricted - leaning was a no-go as well. It might be worth investing in a longer headphone cable if you plan to switch between using them as BT headphones and also studio monitors (which, i genuinely believe these make decent monitor headphones). Overall, theyre a solid product. I've used them for about 8 hours every day since getting them, and the battery level on the app is currently reading 95%. I'd totally recommend these to anyone who's looking for good BT headphones with balanced audio, and decent features. I used them the entire time i was writing this review, was not disappointed.
