Got these to replace a pair of Samsung earbuds with very low quality sound. While these earbuds were an upgrade from that, they aren't the best headphones I've ever used. Solid bass isn't an accurate description of the sound. It's a lot closer to moderate bass. You can tell there is low end present, but it has no significant impact. These headphones should've been marketed as having an overall balanced spectrum, because that's what they are. If you really want bass, just go with Apple earbuds. There's also lots of noise that comes from the cord simply moving freely as you walk, so these are not very pleasant to use unless you're sitting still for long periods of time. And I swear ever since I've gotten these, there's been subtle white noise in the background on my phone whenever audio is playing. It's not there when my phone is silent, only when audio plays, no matter the song or the volume. If there's a short moment of silence in a song, the noise stops. But if anything starts playing again, it's back. I don't mind using these earbuds, but they're not what I expected, and I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were like this. You can get much better headphones for the same value elsewhere.
