Great value for those that like a strong bass signature

At a good price, the ATH-WS770is offers great sound quality for Music, Movies, Gaming, Recording, etc. Especially recommended for those that like a sound signature with strong bass behind it, yet isn't overly muffled by it. The construction isn't quite 'amazing' but it's fairly durable and certainly light. The ear cushions are easily comfortable for hours of use, however, the top headband could've used a bit more cushioning, it begins to lose comfort after a few hours of continued use without re-positioning. My main gripe with the product would be the cable not being detachable, this raises minor concerns for them being breakable which would render the Headphones unusable without an easy fix. Other than that the colour options are easily stylish (Brown + Gold or Black + Red) and they make a great value pair of Headphones for replacing overpriced 'music' headphones and flimsy 'Gaming' headsets. Additionally, they pair well with entry-level audiophile DAC/AMP combos for a little extra punch while being very easy to power with a small amplifier. Recommended!

The ATH-WS770iS Solid Bass over-ear headphones combine exclusive 53mm Deep Motion Drivers with a rigid housing structure and Triple Venting System to provide clear, full-range audio reproduction with invigorating bass. The large diaphragm surface area of the drivers causes considerable air movement, which makes the rich, high-fidelity bass sound possible. The top-mounted PCB equalizes the air pressure behind the diaphragm, thus balancing the sound and keeping distortion to a minimum.

Rigid housings, comprised of an aluminum centerpiece and an aluminum stabilizer ring, dispel any vibration, while three ideally placed vents effectively dampen the airflow within each housing. The result is deep, beautifully textured bass along with crystal-clear reproduction in the mid-to-high frequencies. ATH-WS770iS headphones also feature a 1.2m (3. 9') cable with an in-line mic and control, allowing you to answer calls and control music and video playback on smartphones and other portable devices. The headphones are available in two colors - Black/Red (ATH-WS770iSBRD) and Gun Metal (ATH-WS770iSGM) - and fold flat for easy storage.
