Awesome, so clear and great. I agree with previous reviewers, they need amp/dac or EQ from a device. Sounded crappy on iphone until I enabled EQ (hip hop EQ is my fave over multiple genres). On my dac/amp connected to desktop they are as good as my best over-ears (but much cheaper w/ sale). These things rip if you drive them right.

For the sale price I paid, these are wonderful earphones. There are a couple of things to remember. The sale price of entry will bring nonaudiophile and newbie audiophile (like me) consumers to the brand and the item. These are not, nor are they meant to be, impulse buy ear buds you pick up at the gas station cash register. These earphones require a good source, and a decent or better digital to analog convertor along with some manual EQing to sound their best. At first, I connected then to the (gasp) 1/8" plug on my phone. They sounded better than SkullCandy earbuds but definitely did not justify their MSRP. I had an old Cowon D2 laying around with a then-strong DAC and tried them with that. Totally different listening experience. I then tried them with a Fiio BTR5 and after setting them up using the BTR5's filters and fiddling with the manual EQ, they sounded very spacious, with tight and fast sound and very musical presentation.

These are absolutely amazing with the caveat that you HAVE TO USE THEM with a dsp (equalization) from either the cipher lighting cable, the cipher bluetooth cable or the reveal app and eq on a pc. If you just plug these into a device without one of the above providing a dsp they sound terrible.

I hadn't been keeping up with higher-quality audio for a few years.On a whim, I bought these to upgrade my home listening experience, as some of my older headphones have began to have issues (HD580s, AKG601s). I was astounded- these IEMs have an unbelievably-wide soundstage compared to anything else I've heard, with crystal-clear bass and highs. Coming from Shure E2Cs, these really are special. The planar magnet driver technology really does wonders, to the point where I have started to look at other Audeze or Hifiman headphones. Of course, the ISINEs are open, so outside noise affects sound, and aren't really a travel-friendly headphone. But for a home experience, especially if you aren't a fan of the larger, bulky headphones, the ISINEs are a great alternative, and a real deal if you can catch them on sale.

This is a great product. Great brand, great sound and great price. BUT, it didn’t come with the Cypher cable as specified. This cable is important for performance and Apple product compatibility and an added us100, so not getting it is a big deal.

The Isine 20 is better but these are real good also just don't have as much bass and you can use the Audeze wifi cable so you have many options for this. Battery life is good on the wifi cable as well. The sound is spacious and is open back.

Fantastic sound and value for the price. The tips sit really well in the ear and the sound is great from my iPhone using the lightning to 1/8” adapter. Worth the money, you don’t know what you’re missing in terms of detail if you’ve never gotten a great pair of headphones.

Wanted to write a quick review comparing these to iSine 20. In general, these headphones are incredible, not a waste of money. Yes, fit is not great for long stretches but you get used to it. I found iSine 10 to be punchy but excellent. Sound could be a bit raw, really bringing out the details and letting percussion kick through. One particular bad example - Brad Mehldau’s cover of Hey Joe was hard to listen to - piano came across as too harsh (EQ could fix easily). But most music was incredibly fun and lifelike. Took a couple hours to get accustomed to the sound, but I really fell for them. I traded up to iSine 20. First and foremost, the soundstage is a bit wider, but the overall sound is smoother. I say “but”, because it feels compressed, some life feels gone. Drums don’t cut through with the same punch, the sound is much more mellow. To be honest - I need more time with the 20’s, and I’m sure I’ll love them, but the 10’s had a rawness that was really exciting. I’d scroll through songs to hear how they’d sound, each unique and unpredictable (and great). The 20’s are smooth and ... almost boring. The dynamics feel flat, and the soundstage goes on for miles but it’s smooth. Too smooth.

I've owned a number of high-end headphone (sadly some costing 4-5 times my price to admission for these) and I am blown away by the Audeze iSINE 10s. Sub-bass is just the way I like it. Punchy and present. Sound stage is incredible for in ear Treble is crisp, plenty of detail Audeze app for adjusting the EQ is straightforward, but I haven't found the need to EQ as of yet. Sound bleed isn't crazy, I feel you hear more of the outside world than the outside world hears you. But these are definitely "open" you can hear high treble from a few feet away. So if you are buying for work space or wearing on the road YMMV Highly recommend
