Back into piano after many years. We (my wife and I) wanted an instrument that was always in tune and easy to move around but had excellent sound quality and a grand action. This piano is that and more. We are very happy with our purchase. It exceeded our expectations.

Great product and quality. Weighted keys are great. Sound is more than satisfactory. Compact size and minimalistic design goes well with almost any interior.

It is for personal pleasure. We've never been very good at the piano, and after not playing for several (many) years, it is nice to have it here. Even my wife has started playing on it again too!

Music quality is great, both on the headset and speakers. Unfortunately keys are plastic and you can immediately tell the difference. Actions are too soft and do not have any inertia, making it feel significantly different than an acoustic piano. However, it is a good product for the price range.

You can elevate your musical journey with the Arius YDP-165 88-Key Traditional Console Digital Piano, a sophisticated instrument that combines the elegance of a classic piano with the advanced technology of a digital console. This sleek black walnut piano not only enhances the aesthetics of your space but also delivers a powerful and expressive playing experience, akin to that of Yamaha's prestigious CFX concert grand piano.
The YDP-165 is meticulously crafted to provide an authentic acoustic piano feel, thanks to its GH3 (Graded Hammer 3) weighted keyboard. From the heavier touch in the lower register to the lighter touch in the higher octaves, this keyboard mimics the nuanced response of a grand piano, complete with half-damper pedal control for enriched expressive variation.
Experience harmonic resonance reminiscent of a grand piano with the innovative Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) technology. This feature intricately simulates the complex sympathetic tones that arise when strings vibrate, creating a rich and varied sound that responds dynamically to your touch and pedaling.
The YDP-165's tone escapement construction is a testament to Yamaha's commitment to acoustic authenticity. Sound emanates from within the piano, offering you the natural sound radiation and three-dimensional resonance characteristic of an acoustic piano.
Beyond its grand piano capabilities, the YDP-165 boasts a rich variety of 10 built-in Voices, including electric piano, organ, vibraphone, and strings, ensuring versatility for any musical genre. With 353 built-in songs and comprehensive practice exercises, this digital piano is a treasure trove for both budding and seasoned pianists.
Integration with Yamaha's Smart Pianist app adds a layer of intuitive operation, allowing you to access scores, change tonal qualities, and customize resonance settings with ease. The app transforms your smart device into a powerful tool for enhancing your piano experience.
For those who prefer private practice sessions, the YDP-165 offers features that ensure greater listening comfort when using headphones. The Stereophonic Optimizer effect creates a spacious sound that emulates the experience of playing an acoustic grand piano, while the sound balance technology maintains a natural and gentle sound at any volume level.
The stylish design of the YDP-165, with its modern lines and elegant curves, makes it a statement piece that complements any interior. Additional features like the Volume Limiter function protect your hearing, while recording capabilities allow you to capture and review your performances or practice hands separately.
Whether you're playing duets or teaching a student, the dual keyboard function lets two players share the same octave range, effectively turning the piano into two instruments in one. The Arius YDP-165 is not just a digital piano; it's a modern musical companion that brings the joy of playing to your fingertips, encouraging you to play more and smile with every note.
