Use at home or work. Perfect for documentary and training videos. Great sound quality. The usb connection makes is easy. Don't buy a plastic mic. Best documentary, training, podcasting up to the $ Rode.

We also use these at work for audio on training material. The built in usb connection makes it perfect for any PC based recording. Professional sound. Durable. I'd get this before any plastic usb microphone. Also best podcasting - documentary style microphone up to the $ Rode.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the included extras with the microphone including the soft case, wind screen, table stand and XLR cable. I purchased an extra short cable with mono to stereo adaptor to use with my camcorder so the mono signal would be recorded on both stereo tracks and the sound is fantastic compared to the on-camera microphone for interviews. I highly recommend this mic at this price point.

This is a great microphone at this price point. If you were to do a YouTube search you'll find this one and ATR2100 (which are basically the same thing) pop up as being highly recommended. I use it as a USB device on a Windows 8 machine, plug and play, I didn't have to do anything for it to work. I immediately decided to keep it plugged in and even do my voice/video chats with it (Skype, Hangouts, etc.). The unit I received has a finicky sound output port. If I push the pin of my headphones all the way, I don't hear anything. It's not a big deal I just hope it won't deteriorate. Also, it has a BRIGHT blue light. That thing is blindlingly bright. If it bothers you or gets in your camera if you do video work, just cover it. Not a deal breaker...
