The selectable -10dB pad ensures that the microphone can handle high SPL sources without distortion, while the 80Hz high-pass filter switch is essential for eliminating low-frequency rumble and maintaining a clean, focused track.The CK-40 operates seamlessly on standard 48-volt phantom power and includes a 5-Pin mic cable that connects to the provided 1x2 stereo splitter box. From there, two standard XLR mic cables can be used to interface with any phantom-powered mic preamp or console channel.
