Avid Media Composer Symphony Option Floating License, 50 Pack (Download)

The Avid Media Composer Symphony Option Floating License allows you to add the advanced color correction tools from Symphony to Media Composer. In addition, the effects plugin suite Boris Continuum Complete Lite is included.

This license is a 50 pack of floating licenses. If you are purchasing additional licenses for a pre-existing Floating License Server you must provide the System ID of current Floating License Server. A Floating License Server can be essentially any Windows computer on your network that distributes licenses on an as-needed basis to client users in your post facility. With a 50 pack as many as 50 editors on the common network can be using Media Composer at the same time. Once a user quits Media Composer the license goes back into the pool. Although the license server is Windows-based, both Mac and Windows computers can be used on the network to run Media Composer.

HSL Tools
Allow you to define the luma ranges of highlights, shadows and midtones within an image.

Level Group
Histogram-based controls that provide precise control over the entire image, or over individual color channels.

Channels Group
Can redefine each output color channel by blending input color components in various proportions. You can also use this to view each channel in monochrome, allowing you to identify color deficiencies in each channel.

Secondary Color Correction Tools
allow you to isolate vectors and remap different hue and saturation levels.

Relational Color Correction
allows you to color correct one clip and automatically apply the same changes to every use of that same clip in the timeline.

Merge Color Corrections
color corrections made in one version of a sequence can also automatically be applied to clips in other versions.

Boris Continuum Complete
Included with the Symphony option is Boris Continuum Lite, which features advanced visual effects plug-ins, including tools for 3D objects.
