After a couple of years of consideration I finally purchased the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube cp Geared Head with ClickPan with FlipLock. I did however switch the FlipLock with a RRS B2-40-LR Lever Release Clamp since I like the RRS lever release system over the Arca-Swiss FlipLock and it works great. The C1 solved all of my issues with making minor adjustments easily over a traditional bullhead system. The ClickPan is perfect for my panorama shots by ensuring my movements are perfect every time. I overlay one stitched panorama with another in order to capture different lightings of Cityscapes and Landscape Photography and the ClickPan makes sure every swing of the C1 head perfect every time. Glad I waited to purchase the Arca-Swiss C1 since the ClickPan feature just came out. I also adopted the Arca-Swiss Quick-Link System so I can interchange my C1 with any one of my Ball-Heads and/or Tripods. Just to clarify, there is nothing wrong with the Arca-Swiss FlipLock but it is small and requires fingernail manipulation to fully open the FlipLock where the RRS Lever Release System is much easier and faster. I have a lot of experience with RRS Release Lever Systems and it is the best in the industry (IMHO). You can see in my photo I am using an RRS Versa 34 MKII Tripod, RRS TA-3 Leveling Base, Arca-Swiss Quick-Link System and the modified Arca-Swiss C1. Also, I had Precision Camera Works replace the Arca-Swiss FlipLock with the RRS B2-40-LR Lever Release Clamp.
