The single-slot adapter comes complete with a sophisticated 8-port cable (HD78 to 8 of DB9M), providing a seamless connection. It features eight high-speed 16C950 serial ports, compatible with 1x, 4x, 8x, and 16x lane expansion slots. The Axxon LF799KB card is equipped with a 16C950 UART, offering eight times the buffer capacity of the 16550 model. It also boasts 128 Byte Transmit/Receive Buffers and hardware auto-flow control for efficient data management. The true 1 Megabaud RS232 transceivers ensure high-speed data transfer.

This plug-and-play compatible card features software-selectable non-volatile clock divisors and an RS232F electrical interface. It also offers robust protection with 15 kv ESD surge serial port protection and short-circuit, thermal, and current protected RS232 transceivers.
