it works!!
it is attached to my camera so taking a picture of it in use is not possible -it looks just like the photo on the website - it is solid chunk of steel with some weight to it. it does what it says - i can keep my tripod quick lock head piece attached to the camera and easily access the battery and memory card compartment. it is great to buy stuff that works as expected.

Works great! But! The supposed adhesive to maintain its position is cheap at best. Why don't people use naturally semi-sticky rubber like Sirui / Vidpro do on their products?
