If you can do minor work/setup, this is a steal.

Fantastic beginner or travel guitar. Short scale but full sized neck profile. Frets were probably dressed cleanly, but had significant spout by the time I received it. Plan on buying a rounded fret-end file if you don't already have one. Strong glue smell, so I think the construction was still settling. After about a month now, the guitar sounds better and holds tune better, with just a little additional spout. Setup is fantastic, needed just a little intonation tweak to get rid of fret buzz. Even the factory strings are good. Volume/tone is fine for couch, at home, or a small campfire situation. No neck strap button, plan to install one yourself. I find a strap essential for adult players to get the balance right, and suggest mounting the button on the body, not the neck. Use a small piece of wood glued inside to anchor. Not a junk toy guitar like you might find at a department store. If you can file frets and do a simple setup, this is the best deal in small/travel guitar I've found. Contemplating buying a 2nd because I think I'll need to give this one to my daughter some day.

Great overall

Light but sturdy construction, sounds very decent, wanted the neck to be slightly thinner but is definitely easy to play, overall great value as a no frills beginner guitar

Great for travel

I'm no pro, but sound is pretty good. Not as loud as my full size acoustic, but good for it's size. Only downside is the finish. The front face of the guitar body of all places, is not well finished. There are many specks of dirt or something, leaving it feeling like sandpaper. For the price, I'm not complaining though.

Highly recommended.

It?s just perfect for my little kids. They can play both 3/4 and regular ones. However, we love to take the 3/4 size guitar when we travel and go outdoor. Sound is OK.
