Review Summary
Designed for 24/7 use, the versatile F12 DLP projector offers a wide choice in configurations with different resolutions and lenses making it the perfect choice for various applications: simulation and training, small- and mid-size venues and visitor attractions. The F12 projector combines high resolution, outstanding brightness, contrast and image quality in a compact magnesium chassis of only 3.5 kg. And as there are no user-serviceable parts included in the projector, servicing and maintenance is limited to a bare minimum for a low total cost of ownership.

WUXGA Resolution
When computer-based images with maximum detail and accuracy are the primary concern, WUXGA is the ideal resolution and it's fully compatible with the 1920 x 1200 format.
DLP technology, RealColor and VIDI for stunning images
Geared with single-chip DLP technology, the F12 offers reliable images with high brightness and contrast for applications that need to run continuously. What's more, DLP technology will not degrade when subjected to UV light. Philips' VIDI technology enables dynamic lamp driving over time and enhances image quality through reducing Gray scale artifacts, adding to color saturation, enhancing contrast and improving lamp stability. Unlike non-VIDI based projectors, the lamp power is digitally controlled, as is its performance over time.
RealColor for multi-channel systems
Thanks to the unique color matching and calibration tools provided in the RealColor management suite, the F12 allows you to easily calibrate and set up images for edge blending and multi-channel installations. Deep black levels and a high level of black and white uniformity all add to the projector's impressive performance. As a custom option, manual optical color matching is also offered.
Low Frequency Maintenance program
The Low Frequency Maintenance program can be set to automatically notify you of the required service and maintenance. When running continuously, moving parts such as fans and color wheels require periodic replacement to secure operation. The lifetime of any component is 8000 hours or a year of non-stop operation.
