I ordered this in preparation for the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse. I've done some practicing with it to nail down my exposure and am quite pleased with the results. This filter produces a white image of the sun using a daylight white balance. The filter material that I used for the 2017 eclipse results in a very orange image. Everyone will have their preference, however the white does seem to give more options as you can easily warm it up on the computer if you want the orange look. Assembling the filter is not difficult but does take some time. Don't be afraid to improvise a bit if you think it will make it easier or better for you. For example, instead of the regular glue the instructions call for, I used a hot glue gun. I felt that this would result in a quicker and stronger connection. I feel that the results are as good as I expected and the filter looks good.

Replacing filter film that wore out. Great White Light views of the Sun. One note: It would be nice if the Adorama Website used the same measurement conventions for the A4 (full page) and half sized sheets.
