I was looking at the Pioneer floor standing speaker when I ran across a set of these Boston Acoustics in the store I was in. The salesman had me listen to the pioneers first. then he switched to the Bostons. I was immediately drawn to them. I bought them that night and took them home and hooked them up to my Onkyo. The Boston Acoustics Classic Series 260 II Dual 6.5" 2-Way Floorstanding Speaker (Black) provides exceptional audio for any home theater or music system at an affordable price. A Kortec soft dome tweeter delivers crisp high frequencies while a graphite-injected DCD (Deep Channel Design) woofer delivers more bass response from less amplifier power. Together, the tweeter and woofer are able to reproduce frequencies ranging from 46 Hz to 25 KHz, ensuring faithful playback.
The speaker wires are equipped with five-way gold-plated binding posts, which ensure a secure and reliable wire connection. The gold plates also help preserve signal transfer, minimizing frequency losses and gaps. Additionally, the speaker features MagnaGuard magnetic shielding, which helps prevent video interference when the speaker is placed close to your TV or monitor.
Designed for quick and flexible installation, the speaker features a tower design and can be mounted on a wall or placed on the floor.
