The Bike arrived relatively quickly so no issue there. But when it was fully assembled, it didnt stay on and I got an error message. After several attempts to resolve this with Bird Bikes, who first claimed they would not cover this under warranty, they finally sent me a new battery. Now that I have the new battery and the bike is working, my review for the bike is this: 1. The bike is a single speed bike. Once you get up to a cruising speed, you are really pedalling at a high RPM to keep up with the bike. Wish it had at least one more gear for cruising speeds. 2. There is no rear rack, wheel locks or anything like that which come standard on a Vanmoof. Granted, this is MUCH cheaper, and those things can be added so not a huge, deal, but keep in mind you may want to add those when getting this bike. 3. Overall the ride is fine. Even up slight hills, I had no issue. I like that you can control the Speed mode from the bike and not an app like other bikes

Overall, great eBike. I ended up getting a rear rack for a competitive bike (Aventon Pace 350/500.2 Rear Rack) and a front rack from Specialized known as their "Pizza Rack" so I can carry all the stuff I need to carry. Both mounted to the existing rack mount bosses on the frame out of the box. The bike will go 20 mph for sure on flat ground with my 210 lbs weight on it, but slows down a lot up steep hills, requiring some pedaling. I think that is to be expected for this type of design and pedaling is never hard. I do wish pedal assistance would kick in a bit quicker (there is a slight delay), but you get used to it. The screen, handlebars/grips, and brakes are all comfortable and effective. I did have to straighten the brake rotors so they didn't rub (but you pretty much always have to do that with bike brake rotors -- they're never straight out of the box for some reason, even top Shimano stuff). The included tires are quite good, actually. The bike gets a lot of compliments. One thing I will be doing is having a sticker made to cover the BIRD logo -- I don't like that people might think the bike is for rent.
